A couple of important points for you:
1. Elder Merrill LOVES to receive mail so please feel free to write him at any time. Please know however that he is very limited each week in his computer time and so usually will write one general letter which I will post about on the blog. So he may not be able to respond individually all the time but again, letters are a huge moment of happiness for him so definitely send as many as you like.
2. The easiest way to send an actual letter now that he is in Argentina is to use the website http://www.dearelder.com/
If you sign up at this site, you can type a letter directly there and they will print it and send it to him for free. All you have to do is type in his name [Elder Ethan Merrill] and his mission [Argentina Bahia Blanca]. It will take about 2 weeks for him to get it, but it can be nice to get an actual physical letter, so don't be afraid to try this avenue.
So have some fun dropping our dear missionary a line or two.
