Getting ready for Christmas in Argentina

It's December 17th and time for our letter from Elder Merrill.  We are all getting excited about being able to talk to him on Christmas Day! He tells us a little bit more about his new area:

Even though I'm in a new area, it's the same routine, so it's just like Bolivar really - but that's probably because this city almost exactly like Bolivar. The other guys said there isn't arsenic in the water anymore, but I still don't trust it {good call Elder!}..but we buy purified water anyway so it's all good.
Yep, this week, today in fact, we travel to Bahia Blanca for a Christmas party of sorts. I don't know if I'll get your Christmas package there, but I'll let you know when it comes.  We usually ride a double decker bus tot get there, and the roads are paved, but we just pass by miles and miles of fields to get to places.

Elder Merrill answers a few of our notes and comments before ending for the week:
Chilly - wouldn't that be nice! I'm told that it gets bitterly cold here in the wintertime though. I'm glad you packed those winter items for me now I've heard how crazy cold it gets. I'll let you know when it's June.
It's fun that Zak Jones is at the house, I bet Stuart and he are having a party. I hope that you guys have a fun Christmas. I'll get to write you once more before then so I'll wait until then to wish you all a Merry Christmas. After I write you today I will go back home to get a couple of things to take to Bahia with me, and then about 7:30 pm we will head out. That will be interesting. Not too much sleep tonight I think. I love you all and I hope you all are doing good! Bye!
