PICTURES!!!! We love it!

July 9, 2013
Today’s P-Day letter from Elder Ethan Merrill is even more spectacular than usual because he sent us a couple of photos of himself in his apartment there in Quequen. It is good to see him looking healthy and happy!

Arrgh! I didn´t save a draft and now I have to start all over!  I don´t even remember what I wrote. I said something about how I didn´t get a full p-day because of the mission president coming
and giving us a conference and interviewing all of us. Well, I´ll tell you more about it later if we´re chatting.
So, this is your last day huh? You´re writing to me in North Carolina still then. Are you guys gonna go anywhere that you had planned for your last day? I don´t know if there´s a lot of sights to see in North Carolina, but maybe there´s something special. You were telling me about the museum thing with the lifestyle of people in the past, yeah, it sounds a little boring but I bet it was cool to see all the stuff that they had to live with. You also got to see the 4th of July fireworks? It wasn´t the big one that got cancelled though was it? But, hey, at least you had one. I bet that it´s pretty big in the east, seeing as that´s where the battles were fought and stuff.
Jess and Stuart and Brad and Kyle are all doing well back home then? I wonder how post-school life is treating Kyle? And how married life is treating Jess? Although she´s been married for over a year now, I´ll be arriving home just in time for their 2nd anniversary.
Kyle has a scouting trip in California?? That sounds pretty intense! I did the math, and you´re right, you won´t have time to chat with me, but as long as I get a letter that´s all that matters to me really. I hope that it isn´t too terrible a drive. I can´t believe that the church doesn´t allow driving for scout activities; we drive to get to church on Sunday, but I suppose it’s something like recreational activities on the Sabbath day or something. Well, good
luck with that.
So Sayre is off on the mission huh? 16 months after I get back, he´ll be returning. Well, that´s how things are really, people go and people come, and it just goes on and on. It´s special for me and my friends, but somebody´s always coming and somebody´s always going. It
makes my head spin thinking about it.
Well that´s all that I have to report for now, if you´re still on and able to chat, I´ll be cool with that, I have to write the mission president still, so I´ll do that and then I´ll get back to you. I love
you lots!!       -Elder Ethan Merrill
