June 10, 2013 ~ I love Mondays! Move over Garfield the Cat, Mondays rock!!! Here is our next letter from Elder Ethan Merrill, woohoo!
Hey everyone. Well, its exactly the opposite of hot
right now. I haven´t had to deal with bitterly cold weather, but I have had
some crazy wind here, and that always makes things feel a little colder. But
like I said, it´s not to crazily cold here. I don´t know what the temperature
is right now, but I would guess it’s about 60 or so.
Huh, you´re painting
the house? Are you doing that or have you hired people to do it? I think that
it´s funny that they´ll let you paint the house but you can only have so many
colors, or rather, there´s a restriction on what color you can paint the house.
That will be a crazy shock seeing the new house, I wonder what it´ll look like
at the end...?
I´d forgotten what day Father´s Day is on, I´ll have to be sure to wish
dad a Happy Father´s Day. Thanks for reminding me. I hope that he knows that we
all love him and that we know that he´s his best at whatever he does. That´s
interesting with what he does, training others with all the military equipment.
I bet it’s pretty fun, and this military exercise thing should be pretty
interesting.
Well,
we didn´t get to play Frisbee, but that´s because I was too lazy to organize
anything. It´s alright, we had a fairly busy day, we cleaned a little, and we
went to the big city, which is really fun.
It´s a lot more modernized and fun, they have malls of a sort there. It’s
these places indoors, and we just look at the little rooms that they have for
the different things that they have. Before I forget again, hat package came
like, 4 weeks ago and I completely forgot to tell you! (arrrggggg! Well, glad it got there, lol) Thank you for the socks!
The Doritos and M&M´s were a great surprise too! I still have some
M&M´s but the Doritos are gone. Thank you so much for the socks, my poor
feet are frozen in the morning!
That´s pretty much it for now really, like I said, I had a relaxing day,
but for now, I´m ready to get to another week. I can´t believe it, but this
week I have 15 months in the mission. I´m coming home in 8! It really does go
by so fast, but I still have a long way to go, so I´ll see what happens, I´ll
keep ya posted on anything new that happens! see ya around! love ya!
